A poem for our sweet baby girl!

Congratulations to Joy and Javier who passed court today! They are adopting two little ones and are an amazing couple! Check out their blog!

We got a court date yesterday and I'm so happy! I am also so full of other emotions. It's hard to explain. It is a weird feeling to miss someone you have never met. I can honestly say that I miss our baby so much. My heart aches to see her, hold her, sing to her, play with her, and pray with her. (it will be nice to put her in girls clothes too) It used to be more of a feeling of excitement but it's more than that now, it's an ache in my heart. It does help to have a court date and know that their is a day to look forward to. In the meantime, I will pray for her every day.

I found this poem:

May you be safe while you're waiting...

May you be safe and sleep soundly through the night
May you be safe as you wake to the morning's light
May you feel our love from so far away,
May it comfort and protect you throughout each day.

We will pray for you my little one,
Until our time of waiting is done.
We will pray that the Lord keep you safe from harm,
Until the child of our hearts becomes the child in our arms.

What a nice poem.
Your emotions may be hard to explain, but they are easy for the rest of us to understand! That is what is so nice about staying in contact through the blogs!
I pray this time will pass quickly for you!

I love the poem. I have no doubt that she aches for you too. I can't wait to see the pictures of the HUGE smile on her face when she gets to meet you guys and have you hold her for the first time!!!! It will be here before you know it!

Congratulations!!! What a perfect ending to a shower of love. It was so good to see you two and to see first hand the excitement and love you both have for this sweet baby girl. She is beautiful.
