HELP! I am looking for a new devotional book. I have been surfing the web and they have so many. I would love some suggestions if any of you have a good one.
I am actually looking for two.
1. For myself
2. One for my 13 year old girl
Any ideas?

Can't help with the 13 year old, but I love my Jesus Calling by Sarah Young. It has ministered to me greatly through the whole process! :)
I would highly recommend Joyce Meyers Battlefield of the Mind Devotional for you, it is a fantastic book, it has had a huge impact on my life. There is also a monthly devotional that I found a while ago that I've found I can't live without. You donate any amount (there is no minimum) and as a gift for your donation they send you a monthly devotional book (one study for each day of the month) for 12 months. The books are great, they are short and sweet and have so full of information and ideas. They are the perfect size to throw in your purse and have with you for whenever you have a free minute, it's a great alternative to one big book for the year. It has scripture, story, challenge questions and even a place to journal for each day, you can look at a sample of one on their website. As far as one for Savy they were talking about a teen devotional on the radio the other day that sounded awesome, it was called This is now: Girl-to-Girl Devotional for Teens. It's supposed to be more "up-to-date" on what girls are going through and the pressures of life. I looked at it online and it looks pretty cool. There is another workbook/study style one that I saw that looked good too...Girls of Grace Daily Devotional by Point of Grace. But if you are looking for more of a reading one, and not so much of a workbook there is A Young Woman After God's Own Heart Daily Devotional by Elizabeth George, it's just a daily read.
Hope that helps...ONE WEEK! I love you guys, miss you!!! I hope you are having a great week.
Have you read Hope Lives, it's a 5-week study but really good! It's taken me longer than 5 weeks because I've really savored it but I've loved it.
oh I am on the same quest....can't wait to see what everyone recommends. Melissa just posted about this cool bible that is in chronological order....her blog is www.hoodmamamel.blogspot.com
Hi...I promise I will email you...been meaning to. Just exhausted by all the whole process right now.
I hope you hear good news in 6 days! :)
i am on the same quest. looking forward to reading the recommendations of others!
I can't help with Savannah, but I read "Calm My Anxious Heart" before we got Eli's referral - and I honestly think that's how I've made it through the past year! I'm not an anxious person by nature, but there were definitely times during the wait where I NEEDED that book!
