Random thoughts about American Idol

This is not new but I was watching AI tonight and I was thinking about how much I enjoyed the Annie Lennox performance last month on Idols Give Back. I think she has an amazing voice and it's just her and the piano. I could feel her sincerity as she sang. I don't think the show was as good as last year because they focused too much on the movie stars and not enough on the issues and videos like they showed last year. Regardless, kudos and much appreciation to AI for doing the fundraiser that raised a lot of money. You can watch the Annie Lennox video below: (by the way, I'm a David Cook fan)
