Thanks for those who commented. We are fine. I have been trying to find balance between work, marriage, kids, God and my own body screaming at me. I have been very busy at work and my body was telling me to slow down.
Balance is a hard thing to achieve. I am trying hard to focus on re prioritizing to make sure I have things in the right order and some things have gone to the back burner. I love to BLOG and I will continue to do so as I can, when I can.
I think alot of moms including myself, put a lot of pressure on themselves to be the "perfect mom" and always be "child centered" but in reality, we have to be "God centered". We aren't perfect and it's ok, God loves us anyway. Isn't that amazing?
Rick and I got to take a short vacation just the two of us last weekend. Mom came and spent the weekend with the kids. Rick and I jetted off to Scottsdale Arizona for Golf and R & R. It was so nice to spend time with my honey. Rick and I had a great time and decided that we need to do that more often. :)
Gotta go, Ayana got professional photos done so I will post soon if I can.

you were in AZ and did not stop by? sniff sniff... i would have met up with you if I was in town girly!
You're absolutely right...GOD first, everything else will fall into place. Glad you were able to get away to regroup. I need to do the same.
YEAH for strong marriages and lovely romantic alone time!!
When we first met w/ our SW for our homestudy, she asked what our family priorities were. We both said "our relationship, because if that fails, then we cannot hope to be the parents we want to be." Our SW was THRILLED and said too often parents try to put their kids first, but their spouse HAS to come first in order for the 2 of you to co-parent like you want to, and like your child deserves (I don't mean to knock single/divorced parents at all here.) I am so thrilled you and Rick got some "alone time" because I agree...you GO GO GO and DO DO DO for everyone else Amber, but you need to think of yourself and Rick and put that first.
Still working on finding that balance myself! :) Glad to hear you are doing okay and it was good to hear an update!
Good for you to get away with Rick!!!
Being a mom is not always easy.....but rewarding at the same time!
I hope to see you again soon, we will make a trip to Dallas!
