They grow up so fast...

This isn't adoption related, but rather parent related. I was listening to a song I heard ont he radio the other day and it got me to thinking. (scary, I know) My mom always told me, love on your baby girl because soon, they will be grown and out of the house. It's so true. My Savannah Banna (that's the nick name that her cousins gave her) is growing up so fast. Each month she gets taller and she is almost wearing my shoe size. She also has her first boy friend. (yikes) So of course, she's not allowed to leave the house anymore. LOL. These photos were from Easter. Savannah is with her Neice, Abby. They Love to take pictures of themselves.

I can't help but wonder, do I spend enough time with her, does she listen when I teach her values, do I lead by example, is she in church enough, and on and on....

What a huge responsibility to have a child and to raise them in God's way but it's also the bigest gift I could have ever gotten. I love you Savannah, more than you know.

The two country songs that got this whole thought process started are, Stealing Cinderella by Chuck Wicks and You're gonna miss this by Trace Adkins. They are great songs. Check them out.

I had never heard the Stealing Cinderella but I LOVE the Trace Adkins song. It made me start a notebook of all the little things my kids do that I don't want to forget someday. Thanks for posting the video. Savannah is a beautiful girl!
