Fun, Fun!

Tonight Rick and I met with the group we met online called, Ethiopia Babies. This a is group of people in the Dallas area who have or are adopting from Ethiopia. It was our first time meeting the group. We met at so many neat families and it was nice to talk to couples who know about the adoption process. We also met several kids who have already been adopted, so cute! The event was at Beau and Natalie's house. They had it catered and it was all Ethiopian food. That was the first time I had tried this type of food. The jury is still out on whether we will eat it again but it was a neat experience. Thanks to the whole group for a good time. Here is a picture Savannah took tonight:

BTW, what agency are you using? I looked all over your blog but I don't see it.

You don't know if you'd eat Ethiopian food again? For some reason, that makes me depressed. I hope you do. Maybe you could try some of the great recepies on this cookbook: http://www.amazon.com/Soul-New-Cuisine-Discovery-Flavors/dp/0764569112/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1209390381&sr=1-1

Who are you with?

Dear anonymous,

I was being dramatic when I said that I would not Ethiopian food again. I hear the more you eat it, the more it grows on you and then you start craving it. I will definitely try more recipes as to keep up with our babies culture. Thanks for the recipes!

Amber,
How fun for you and your family to meet other families in your area who are adopting from Ethiopia. Maybe some of you will even be in Ethiopia at the same time enjoying the culture and good food when you get your little ones.

We really hated to miss it! I look forward to meeting you soon.

I can for sure say that each time I eat Ethiopian food, I like it more. I am not an adventurous eater and I love the food now. There are several great places in Dallas to get it, we will meet there sometime. :)
